The Cardiovascular Center of Hamton Roads' Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Clinic was developed to provide an outpatient program to maximize the quality of life for our CHF patients in a comfortable setting. Our nurse practitioners are available during office hours to work closely with patients — providing education on diet and helping patients understand and implement their individual treatment regimens. In addition, our nurse practitioners are available to monitor patients' heart fluid levels and to address questions and concerns from our patients and their family members.
